Building Surveying

We have a building surveying team that has vast expertise in all areas of property conservation. We provide many specialist surveys ranging from condition surveys, pre-acquisition surveys, dilapidation reports and maintenance surveys and reports. We have an in-depth knowledge of listed buildings and can produce specialist surveys as to the condition and what repairs and indicative costs are needed to maintain the structure.


We have a multi-disciplinary team that covers all aspects of design. Whether using a single discipline or a multi-discipline, we have a wealth of knowledge. We cover all the bases, architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural and where a specialist is required over and above these disciplines, we have a certified supply chain that can fill in the gaps. We use the most up to date software enabling us to produce the highest quality designs. We can model and operate in a BIM (building information management) environment. As we are a multi-disciplinary business, and as such,we have the advantage of being able to coordinate the design in-house instantly. We can collaboratively communicate ideas and developing holistic design concepts quickly, benefiting the client.

Principal Designer

In addition to the designers, we have principal designers (PD) that operate as an independent health and safety person offering advice to our clients. Our PD’s understand all the duties that are required under the Construction and Design Management regulations 2015 and can help clients ensure they, the designers and contractors comply with their responsibilities under any construction project.

Quantity Surveying

Our quantity surveyors cover all aspects of quantity surveying including project management. We offer the full range of services for the client from assessing costs for the project, procurement options that could be open to the client and the best building contract for the project. Where appropriate offer advice on the appointment of consultants. Preparing contract documents to enable the client to appoint a contractor and when the contractor returns their tender assessing them to find out which contractor is best suited to the contract. During the construction phase preparing and evaluating monthly payment application from the contractor including any potential variation to the agreement.
